I finally got a decent response from you.

First of all, I did not give my email address to your service (Turing).
In other words, you guys got my email address from somewhere without my permission and sent me emails unilaterally.

So here's my first question.
1. Please tell me where you got it.

The email said, 'I saw your profile online and wanted to reach out!
2. What do you mean by 'your profile'?

The email also said, 'You might be a great fit for many of the remote software engineering roles that top U.S. companies are hiring for on Turing'.
3. Can you tell me what you saw in that 'profile' and what made you think that?

As a matter of fact, I understand that you are getting a bunch of addresses from github and other sources and sending out emails without looking at account details or other profiles.I am Japanese, and I know that other Japanese engineers have received the "exact same" email from you.

This means that I understand that you haven't even looked at the profile, but I demand that you answer the three questions above.

I am well aware that you need to attract users as you are running a service, so sending e-mails is not a problem in itself.
However, it is very unpleasant to receive such an email without even looking at my "profile".

    Our marketing team is highly active on social media, technical forums, conferences, meet-ups, and other similar platforms and events. You most likely left your email address on one of those platforms or events prompting us to reach out to you.


Answer to 3rd question:


    I won't be able to precisely tell you that *** but I would like you to know that we are looking forward to hiring top developers for our clients in silicon valley and one of your profiles would surely have matched the criteria.


Regarding the region factor ***, we are looking to hire developers from across the globe and I understand your concern here *** that this email was not relevant to you but as a solution, I will go ahead and unsubscribe you from the platform and escalate this to the concerned team to rectify the reach out criteria.

If you can't answer that, it means that you are very messy with your personal information.

So I would feel better if you could honestly tell me that there is no such "profile" and that you are sending the "exact same" email to a randomly obtained email address.


I'm really sorry for making you, the support team, deal with this.
The truth is that we want it to reach the person who is running the sloppy operation.
If the next email is obscure again, I will give up.

Your company may think that a person is just an email address, but I do not.
